The Sutra G-Spot vibrator is manufactured by Vibe Therapy. I haven't ever heard of them so when I seen the vibe on Eden Fantasys I got it as an assignment. It isn't a typical toy that I would get since I prefer all my toys to have a clitoral attachment. Sutra is best use for vaginal penetration and G-Spotting pleasure. I wouldn't recommend using this for anal penetration since there is no type of flared base keeping it from slipping into your bum!! I don't know about you but I personally wouldn't want to take a trip to the Emergency Room to explain how I got a 9+ inch vibe stuck in my bum. I used Sutra solo but you could use it to tease your male bodied partner by running it along his shaft so he can feel the vibrations. Sutra can be used by beginners to advanced users alike. The sizing may be a little intimidating to beginners but you can work up to it. Material The Sutra is mainly made out of silicone but does have plastic components as well. The main part of the toy would be the shaft and it is 100% silicone which isn't a porous material so you don't have to worry about covering it with a toy cover or condom. Silicone can be sterilized, is hypoallergenic, phathalates and latex free. Silicone is usually a smooth feeling texture, the Sutra has some texture but nothing that is major or that would make one shy away from it. I didn't find the texture to be intimidating at all since it is pretty simple raised spots and some simple ridges. Design/Shape/Functions The shape of Sutra is pretty much like most other G-Spot vibes, the tip is curved up a bit so that it can hit the G-Spot with no issue. The head is non-realistic so if you don't like realistic vibes then this is for you. There is a rounded tip that makes for easy insertion, the tip of Sutra is the thinnest part of the toy. If the tip doesn't have enough curve to it don't worry there is a lot of flexibility to it. Sutra isn't like most vibes there is a lot of give and its not a hard silicone. Its pretty squishy, from what I can feel the ONLY solid part in the shaft is 3/4 the way up the shaft right before the G-Spot curve where the bullet is. I found the controls to be pretty simple but a MAJOR pain in the ass during play. There are 2 simple push button controls, the smaller one is to power on your Sutra you'll know its on because the bigger button below will glow red with a red outline. The bottom button is used to change your patterns, there are 7 different patterns to the Sutra, I will discuss them shortly. When playing be careful where you place your hands and fingers as you can accidentally change the speed or pattern during play. I did this and it pissed me off more then surprised me since I prefer the steady vibrations. The patterns are as follows 1.)Low Steady Vibration 2.)Medium Steady Vibration 3.)High Steady Vibration 4.)Escalating Vibrations from Low to High 5.)Pulsating from Low-High, Low-High 6.)A Faster Pulsating Action 7.)3 short pulses then one long For me there wasn't enough power, the vibrations weren't buzzy but they weren't 100% rumbly either. While the Sutra isn't whisper quiet you won't hear it through the door, over a fan or the T.V. The Sutra runs off of 2 AA batteries, they are pretty easy to insert. The battery cover is easy to get off but you have to angle it in order to get it back on. The package says that this is waterproof as does the product page but the review I have read on it says that it isn't fully waterproof. I personally can't vouch for this as I don't take my toys in the shower. With the size of Sutra I wouldn't really say she is travel friendly, measuring in at a little over 9 inches in total length and having an insertable length of 6.5 inches. The circumference is 5.5 inches with the diameter being 1.5 inches in the biggest part of the shaft. If you were to travel with this and TSA or any type of security check with public transportation would know what it was for. I mean its NOT impossible to travel with it but it you get embarrassed easily I would leave her home and grab something else. Also if you choose to travel with Sutra remove the batteries or your bags will be vibrating without you getting the pleasure since the controls are easily pushed. Packaging The packaging of the Sutra is elegant but not discreet by any means, it has a drawing of the vibe on the back of the box. On the front of the box at the bottom there is a small photo of the actual vibe as well. In silver embossed letters it says "Vibe Therapy" down the front side of the box. The front of the box flips open displaying Sutra, it sits inside a plastic shell to keep it from moving around. There are instructions inside in many different languages. If you ask me the packaging is really great for gift giving and storing your toy. I usually store all my toys in their original packaging if its great for storage. Care/Storage Caring for Sutra isn't a major task but I do recommend cleaning before and after each and every use. She does like to collect lint, hair, dirt anything that could possibly end up on your bed. With Sutra being silicone you can clean her a few different ways but when cleaning make sure to pay close attention to the creases where the texture is to make sure you get all bodily fluids off. 1.)Antibacterial Toy Cleaner-Spray down with an antibacterial toy cleaner let set for a few minutes then wipe clean 2.)Warm water and antibacterial soap, slather on the antibacterial soap and let sit for a minute or two then rinse thoroughly lay flat on lint free surface to dry 3.)Antibacterial toy wipes like the Eden Toy Wipes 4.)10% bleach solution let soak for a few minutes then rinse thoroughly letting air dry Make sure that you do NOT boil or toss Sutra into the dishwasher since she has motors inside. With Sutra being silicone you will want to use a water based lubricant ONLY. A silicone lube or hybrid lube can cause a reaction and damage your toy. If you use only silicone lubes you can test a spot at the bottom an see what happens totally up to you. I prefer water base lubes so I don't run into this issue. I was provided this item from Eden Fantasys for free in exchange of an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are mine.
